About

Hi, I'm Maria.

I'm a senior UX designer in Stockholm. For the last eight years I've worked on services people use every week: a bank's internet bank, a housing association's website, a telecom's logged-in pages, and digital care for clinicians and patients.

I like starting on paper, testing early and staying close to the developers who build what I design. Most of my work has been in large organisations, where a big part of the job is explaining why it's worth testing before building.

How I work

  1. 01Understand the terrain: interviews, surveys and usability tests of what already exists.
  2. 02Sketch on paper, then wireframes, then prototypes that real customers can click.
  3. 03Test every few months, and change course when the findings say so.
  4. 04Stay with the team through build, design review and functional testing.
